Branch Bros keep a wide range of softwoods available to the trade and retail customers.

They range from several different sizes and different qualities. We also have timber that comes pressure treated so it is instantly ready for outdoor use.

On top of this we provide a full cutting service so we can always give you the timber you need for the job.

The following are our ranges of softwood timbers we keep in stock

CLS (Canadian Lumber Standards)

CLS is made from a very fast growing type of pine. Because of this CLS has been used quite a lot by the building trade because it can easily be massed produced.

PSE (Planed Square Edge)

If you are looking for timber with a bit better quality and a better finish for use indoors then planed square edge is your answer. It gives a complete smooth finish and a sharp look for the best quality.

Sawn Carcassing

this is the most standard type of timber. It is just rough sawn timber cut to size and ready for use. This is better suited for structural timber where it will not be seen. Some of the range comes pressure treated.
